Compliance

10DLC ALERT: As of June 1st, 2023, the Carriers have begun imposing a Unregistered Traffic Fee. If your 10DLC registration has not yet been approved by the carriers, unregistered pricing will apply with risks to deliverability.

While we can send your text messages as Partially Registered, it comes with a higher cost per text and a risk of reduced deliverability. This route is available to our users, but our mission is to help you achieve optimal message performance through proper registration.

Text Compliance

Peer-to-Peer (P2P) texting complies with Federal Communication Commission (FCC) regulations when used correctly, as it requires human interaction for every message sent, distinguishing it from automated systems and robocalls. This makes P2P a legally sound and effective method for political, nonprofit, and business-to-customer outreach, as long as it follows relevant guidelines.

RoboCent’s platform is designed to ensure compliance with these regulations by facilitating human-driven communication. We offer features such as an automated opt-out system, which honors recipients' requests to unsubscribe, ensuring adherence to legal standards. By prioritizing responsible communication and providing the necessary tools to meet compliance, RoboCent helps you run safe, effective, and legally sound texting campaigns.

At RoboCent, we prioritize the legal and responsible use of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) texting. Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards is critical in maintaining trust and delivering effective communications.

10DLC Registration

10DLC (10-Digit Long Code) registration is required for all organizations sending texts to U.S. mobile numbers. This registration improves message deliverability, enhances compliance with carrier regulations, and prevents additional fees for unregistered traffic.

To register your 10DLC, you will need:

RoboCent offers a streamlined registration process, managing the compliance steps to ensure your text messaging is fully registered and carrier-approved.

Automated Opt-Out System

RoboCent simplifies opt-out management, recognizing keywords like 'stop,' 'remove,' and 'unsubscribe' to honor opt-out requests. Once a contact chooses to opt out, they are added to a specialized Do-Not-Contact list exclusive to your organization. For all future outreach, any contacts on your DNC list will be automatically excluded when your phone list is scrubbed during message approval.

Your collaboration in meeting these standards is highly appreciated.

Ensuring that your script content complies with legal and ethical standards is essential for successful messaging campaigns. RoboCent’s platform requires adherence to industry standards that emphasize:

  • Clear identification of the sender

  • Transparent opt-out mechanisms

  • Avoidance of misleading, inappropriate, or illegal content

By meeting these content standards, you help protect your campaign’s reputation and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Your Responsibility

RoboCent provides the infrastructure and platform for Peer-to-Peer (P2P) text messaging campaigns, but it's imperative to recognize that the onus of compliance resides squarely with you, the user. While we offer features aimed at facilitating adherence to applicable regulations, RoboCent cannot be held accountable for any violations of local, state, or federal laws that may transpire during your P2P text messaging initiatives. Consulting with legal advisors to ensure full compliance is not just recommended, it's essential.
