Can I get a refund?

Believe it or not, this question has to be answered: "If I lose my election, will RoboCent provide a refund?" (spoiler alert: the answer is no.)
RoboCent makes no guarantees on our ability to convince a voter to vote for you. While our services are powerful and can make a difference in a tight race, it is not a miracle solution that can make an unknown, unfunded candidate beat a 16 year incumbent with fantastic name id. Nothing can help you there.

Avoiding Mistakes in Scheduling

If you experience issues while using our platform, we will happily work with you to find an amicable solution to ensure your experience on our platform is as positive as possible.
Unfortunately, we can't provide refunds for every customer for every mistake that they experience. The vast majority of refund requests we receive are due to user error, where the customer selects the wrong date/time, the wrong contact list, or uses the wrong script that contains a mistake. This is why it is so important to double check your campaign details prior to submitting a campaign schedule request.
It is not RoboCent's responsibility to check that your campaign is sending on the right day or that your script is using the correct event location address. These types of issues are preventable only by the customer by being thorough and attentive when scheduling your messages.
Our service has one objective: to deliver your messages to voters. Provide us with the correct details and we will do just that!
RoboCent always allows refunds if you decide to cancel your message before we begin sending. This refund is provided via Account Credit by default, but can be refunded directly to the credit card used. To change a cancellation refund from Account Credit to a Credit Card refund, simply contact our team.
RoboCent will not provide any forms of refund after we have begun sending your message.

Deliverability Issues

Our service has an acceptable margin that we follow for campaign success rates. These success rates are unique to each service and vary based on the deliverability we've grown to expect. If your campaign falls outside of these acceptable margins, our team will automatically review internally to identify the cause.
If the issue was caused by something within RoboCent's control, we will happily resend the message at no cost to the customer.
If the issue was caused by something the customer did (such as a violation of our Script Content Standards or using low quality phone number data) we will not provide any refunds. In some situations, these types of deliverability issues that are caused by the customer may be subsidized with an account credit, but these types of credits will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
If the issue was caused by a third-party vendor utilized by RoboCent and is outside of our control, we will not provide any refunds. In some situations, these types of deliverability issues that are caused by our third-party vendors may be subsidized with an account credit, but these types of credits will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Script Content Standards

All customers are required to follow the Script Content Standards when sending their text messages. If your messages get blocked by carriers filtering due to a violation of our Responsible Use Policy, which includes adhering to the Script Content Standards, it will be the sole responsibility of the user. We incur costs from the carriers even when they are the ones blocking the messages, this prevents us from providing refunds for messages blocked by carrier filtering.
RoboCent is not responsible for the content of your messages. It is the responsibility of the User to ensure they are following proper text messaging guidelines to maximize deliverability.

Text Message Deposit

Text messages are unique in their setup. When you schedule a P2P text message, we buy local phone numbers based on the area code you provide. These "sending numbers" are purchased from the carriers directly and cost us money for each number we buy. The more mobile phones you're contacting, the more sending numbers we need to buy to ensure your campaign has enough throughput. Because of this cost, we retain a 10% deposit after you schedule and pay for a Text Message campaign should you decide to cancel.
Should you cancel a campaign because of a clerical error, you can correct the issue by rescheduling the message. If using a contact list of a comparable size, RoboCent will waive the 10% deposit as we can reuse the sending numbers for the new campaign you scheduled.
Please thoroughly review your campaign details to ensure everything is accurate to prevent unnecessary cancellations.

HelloInbox Phone Number Subscriptions

RoboCent has a No Refund Policy on HelloInbox Phone Numbers. More info available at
You can cancel a HelloInbox phone number at any time prior to your next billing cycle. Once a subscription has renewed, the service is active for the next 30 days. If you no longer need to use the phone number, you can cancel at any time to prevent future subscription charges.

Chargeback Abuse Policy

Chargebacks are completely and absolutely a violation of our Terms of Service. If you complete a chargeback against RoboCent, we will take appropriate legal action to recover the original amount due, fees incurred, legal expenses, and costs for time spent responding to the chargeback.
Chargeback Abuse Prohibited. Once you authorize a charge to your credit or debit card to purchase a RoboCent Service, you agree to not to file a credit card or debit card chargeback with regard to your purchase, regardless of whether your use of the RoboCent Service produced the desired outcome (e.g. the election of a political candidate). Should you file a credit card or debit card chargeback, you agree to reimburse RoboCent for any costs incurred in researching and responding to such chargeback, including without limitation, attorney’s fees and other costs paid to the credit card processor or our banks. You further agree that RoboCent may add these amounts to the original amount of your order, and that this total amount will then be immediately due and payable. RoboCent reserves the right to report a threatened or actual chargeback incident for inclusion in chargeback abuser database(s) of our choosing and in our sole discretion.
